THE ROLE:
As part of this National Law Firm's expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced solicitor with 4-6 years' PQE to join as an Associate. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to undertake contentious and/or transactional restructuring and insolvency work. Providing tailored solutions to meet clients' needs, you will advise them on restructuring strategies and insolvency proceedings. You will be expected to prepare and review legal documents related to bankruptcy filings, debt restructuring agreements, and creditor negotiations. The role requires you to represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation, advocating for their interests at all times. The appointed Solicitor will work alongside internal teams and external stakeholders, including financial advisors and regulatory bodies. Your expertise and knowledge in this area of law will be utilised to deliver strategic guidance, negotiate settlements, and advocate for the firms’ clients' interests.


THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with 4 – 6 years’ PQE and experience in Restructuring & Insolvency law. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and manage a team as you will be expected to supervise junior members of the team. You must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial approach to your work and have a proven track record advising businesses in distress. To be successful in this role, you must have strong communication skills with a keen focus on maintaining established client relationships. The appointed candidate will lead by example and share knowledge within the department.
