SALARY:          £55,000 - £62,000 per annum

THE ROLE:
Looking for a fresh challenge with exposure to interesting and engaging work? Our reputable client is currently looking for a highly skilled Regulatory Lawyer to join them on a 6 month maternity cover. The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance and regulation. Your duties will include handling a caseload of investigating conduct, gathering evidence, drafting statements, corresponding with barristers and witnesses, and drafting reports or recommendations. Cases will be taken to the Disciplinary Tribunal, in which the post holder will draft charges, review disclosure, make decisions on bundle content, and respond to legal challenges.

The organisation offers flexible working conditions, that includes 4 days per month in the office. This role offers a new challenge for a well suited regulatory lawyer, combining complex case management with leadership, and influencing policy within the sector. The role demands the highest level of confidence in decision making, consistency in approach, and a commitment to high quality work.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role is best suited to a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE and experience working in a similar role. Our client is looking for a talented and ambitious individual who can provide maternity cover support for a period of at least six months. You will have a proven track record of decision making and defending against appeals as necessary. This role requires excellent prioritisation and meticulous attention to detail, which will enable you to analysis information/evidence and in turn will lead to great decision making. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, your enviable skills will allow you to quickly become a key member of this team.
