SALARY:          up to c£50,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
Our client is looking for a confident and ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded and successful law firm. On offer is a challenging and rewarding caseload of a mixed bag of clinical negligence files. Among your responsibilities will be working in collaboration with colleagues on more complex and serious cases. As part of your role, you will be expected to contribute to the development of the clinical negligence offering through networking and business development. A typical day will see you supporting the team on clinical negligence cases to include attending meetings, arranging conferences and the liaising with third parties, insurers, counsel and medical experts. The right candidate will gain valuable experience helping to build their career in this hands-on and highly visible role.

THE CANDIDATE:
The role is best suited to Solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE and with a keen interest in furthering their knowledge and career within Clinical Negligence work. It is essential that candidates wishing to be considered for this role have the natural ability to provide legal services with a personal touch whilst at all times demonstrating care and understanding. The post holder will have previous experience in drafting documents and correspondence such as witness statements and letters of instruction to counsel and to medical experts. A successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, and prioritise client care over all else.
