SALARY: £37,000.00 - £43,000.00 (Pro Rata).

OVERVIEW:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Personal Injury Lawyer to provide around 9-months support to a highly regarded law firm. The appointed Legal Professional will be required to run, under supervision, a full caseload of non-portal fast-track and multi-track cases from start to finish whilst striving to gain a positive outcome for the client. You will be representing clients who are victims of Road Traffic Accidents, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Assault. No day will ever be the same in this role, however you can expect a typical day to include obtaining relevant documents and carrying out relevant investigations, preparing witness statements and preparing for conferences and hearings.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcome from candidates with a minimum of 2 + years’ experience in handling fast track PI claims, including experience of the litigation process. You will need experience in handling high value and complex personal injury cases and be able to work under your own initiative. It is essential that applicants have excellent knowledge of the law relating to personal injury and the Civil Procedure Rules. The appointed Personal Injury Lawyer must have outstanding communication and client care skills and good Knowledge of CPR, rules on evidence, litigation process and funding.
