An excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join a highly regarded team in the North West. The successful candidate will join a leading team and work on behalf of professionals who are subject to professional disciplinary proceedings. This firm’s professional regulation team offer support to corporate clients and individuals across a broad range of sectors on a range of high quality and complex matters.

What Does the Role Involve?
- Providing legal support and advice to those facing penalties and potential disqualification
- Offer guidance on the procedure for disciplinary proceedings
- Prepare for interviews and assist with drafting written representations and responses
- Advise on legal challenges and appeals made against a regulatory decision

The Regulatory Solicitor:
- Must have between c2 and 6 years’ relevant post qualification experience
- Must have the ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of fitness to practise and regulatory law, practices and procedures
- Should be able to demonstrate experience in preparing cases at all levels of court and tribunals
- Be able to show a proven track record of being able to deal with complex cases and in-depth investigatory work
