THE ROLE:
Our client is looking for a confident and ambitious Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a highly regarded and successful law firm. You will be working on a challenging and rewarding caseload of multitrack claims, these include clients who have suffered from a wide range of injuries as a result of clinical negligence. A typical day will see you supporting the team on clinical negligence cases to include attending meetings, arranging conferences and the liaising with third parties, insurers, counsel and medical experts. It is essential that candidates wishing to be considered for this role have the natural ability to provide legal services with a personal touch whilst at all times demonstrating care and understanding. The role is worked mostly remotely with just one day a month worked in the office and is offered as an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

THE CANDIDATE:
The role is best suited to Solicitors or Legal Executives with 1 – 3 years’ PQE and with a keen interest in furthering their knowledge and career within Clinical Negligence work. The post holder will have previous experience in drafting documents and correspondence such as witness statements and letters of instruction to counsel and to medical experts. A successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, and prioritise client care over all else.
