JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
EXPERIENCE: NQ to 2 years’ PQE
This legal 500 ranked Employment Team have an excellent opportunity available for a Solicitor hoping to establish their career with a Top 100 firm. Having received a continuous flow of new work from existing clients and referred clients from other areas of the company, this position has become available. The appointed candidate will work closely with the department's Partners to provide support on their cases, as well as handling their own caseload. The caseload will consist of Respondent and Claimant work and will include matters such as discrimination, redundancy, disciplinary procedures and employment contracts. The position is open to qualified solicitors with up to 2 years’ experience of working on behalf of Employers and Employees. Applicants will be tenacious and hard-working, with a drive to push forward your career and take control of the wheel. Solicitors hoping to be considered for this role must have experience of representing clients in Employment Tribunals and mediations as well as experience of drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures. This role requires excellent prioritisation and meticulous attention to detail which will enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for clients.
