SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

THE ROLE:
An exciting new opportunity for a Court of Protection Solicitor has become available to join this firm’s acclaimed Court of Protection department. As a highly valued member of the team, you will be tasked with handling your own caseload of Court of Protection matters, offering advice to patients and families of patients who lack capacity to make decisions on such as their general care, residence and medical treatment. The appointed Court of Protection Solicitor will be working within a highly specialised team fully committed to being leaders in their field, alongside delivering a compassionate service to clients. The successful individual will be responsible for assisting and the supervision of junior Solicitors in the team.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role is well suited to a talented Court of Protection Solicitor with 5+ years’ experience gained in this area of law. The ability to develop strong relationships with a broad range of clients, often under difficult circumstances, is a key skill for this role. You should possess sound judgement and the ability to act in the best interests of your vulnerable clients. Compassion and empathy are essential requirements. Furthermore, it is essential that the appointed Solicitor is a member of the Court of Protection panel.
