JOB TITLE: Tax and Trust Lawyer

•The role entails handling an array of responsibilities including the preparation of Trust and Estate tax returns, personal tax returns, and related tax calculations using the firm's software. You will monitor Trust and Estate deadlines, including ten-yearly charges and beneficial entitlements.
•Correspondence with clients, HM Revenue & Customs, and third parties is a key aspect, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
•The ideal candidate for this role should possess a suitable professional qualification such as STEP, ATT, or CTA (part qualified) and have significant experience, at least 2 years in working within a private client or trust department.
•Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, with the capacity to communicate effectively at all levels as you'll play a pivotal role in training and mentoring junior staff members.
