OVERVIEW:
• This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced solicitor to undertake Care and Child Protection work.
• Applications are sought from solicitors with a minimum of 3 Years PQE with relevant knowledge of the work of Children and Families Public Law Department and the relevant law
• You will be responsible for managing a caseload of child protection maters which will include, attending to clients at court with counsel and draft any documentation in accordance with efficient file management including correspondence, briefs, court documentation, full attendance notes and statements of evidence
• Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel would be advantageous.
• Confident undertaking own advocacy work
• You will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and difficult clients in a professional, confidential manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are a must
