Location: West Midlands (Hybrid)
PQE: 2+
Salary: £50K - £70K

Our client a thriving organisation in the heart of the West Midlands are seeking a skilled and motivated lawyer to contribute to their in-house legal department. If you are a UK qualified solicitor or barrister with expertise in construction and/or commercial arrangements and/or corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, partnering and joint ventures, and reorganisations, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview:

As an In-House Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support across a spectrum of legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and business-savvy legal professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice on construction, commercial arrangements, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, partnering, joint ventures, and reorganisations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and goals.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents and agreements.
Work independently on legal matters and projects, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business colleagues and external partners.
Ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks associated with various business activities.
Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the industry.

Qualifications:

UK qualified solicitor or barrister with 2+ PQE.
Proven experience in advising on construction, commercial arrangements, or corporate law.
Strong business acumen with a practical and commercial approach to problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and trusting relationships.
Hardworking attitude with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
