JOB TITLE: Contracts and Procurement Lawyer
LOCATION: Buckinghamshire (hybrid working – 1 day in the office, 4 days remote)
PQE: 3+
HOURLY RATE: Up to c£45.00 (£DOE) / INSIDE IR35

THE ROLE:
This Local authority requires immediate assistance from a Contracts and Procurement Locum for around 5-months, with potential for this to be extended. The role will be mainly remote, and the council will support you with IT systems to work from home. You will be managing a caseload of contracts, procurements, and information matters.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have upwards of 3 years’ experience working within this area of law, previous experience working within the public sector is essential. You will be up to date with all relevant legislation and codes of practice through compliance with CPD and carrying out your own research as required. The successful candidate will be confident and possess excellent communication skills as you will be communicating with colleagues across the public services and other councils.
