JOB TITLE: Restructuring Solicitor
PQE: 5+ Years PQE
LOCATION: Newcastle upon Tyne

THE ROLE:
The Restructuring Solicitor will be joining this well-regarded and successful financial law team and take on caseload of restructuring and corporate insolvency work. Your client base will be varied – you can expect to be acting for insolvency practitioners, investors and creditors – advising on all aspects of matters involving businesses in difficulty. You will be encouraged to be involved in networking and new business initiatives, in order to continue to strengthen and build this successful team.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Restructuring, ideally gained in another leading national or regional law firm. You will have a proven track record in advising on disputes, reorganisations and refinancing of businesses, ideally dealing with a mix of contentious and non-contentious work. This is a key role in the team and, with that, the firm will also consider more senior hires with a local following, but this is not essential to the role. What is important is someone who is technically astute with a strong worth ethic and commercial approach to their work. You will have exceptional communication and client management skills.
