In-house Lawyer (Commercial) ,Winchester, 7+ PQE – This is an excellent opportunity for a senior associate, looking to transition from fee earning to an in-house legal position. Call us now on 020 7183 8586.

JOB TITLE: In-house Lawyer
PQE REQUIRED: 7+
LOCATION: Winchester (with travel to London one day a week).
SALARY: £80K - £90K

THE ROLE: The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of legal, risk and compliance matters, including commercial contracts, client engagement terms, policies, intellectual property rights and data protection. Examples of the work you will be involved with as part of this role include: Reviewing, drafting and advising on client related contracts, such as engagement terms, master services agreements, non-disclosure agreements and release letters as well as helping develop and maintain policies and procedures for the management of suppliers.


THE CANDIDATE: The successful in-house Lawyer will have extensive experience advising on and negotiating commercial contracts as well as proficiency in intellectual property and data protection law. Previous private practice experience is essential along with a strong business acumen. You must possess the ability to take a commercial and practical approach as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative and prioritise workloads. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain high standard of professionalism at all times is essential as are strong negotiation skills with both legal and commercial issues.
