OVERVIEW:
This award-winning Corporate department is looking to strengthen its team with the recruitment of a solicitor ideally with 0-5 years PQE to join Cumbria’s leading Corporate team, with a thriving M&A practice and reputation for excellence. The successful candidate may work from either or both of the Carlisle and Newcastle offices - there is flexibility in this aspect of the role. You will be involved in a broad range of Corporate work, but principally M&A transactions, joint venture and shareholders’ agreements, advice on corporate governance, partnership matters, and general commercial advice. The focus will be advising the team’s impressive roster of business clients. You will have early exposure to market leading transactions working with our high quality client base. You will be expected to run your own caseload and will be supervised as necessary, in accordance with your level of PQE.
