Commercial Lawyer/Company Secretarial 6 years+ PQE, Surrey, up to £75 ,000 (DOE) plus extensive benefits. OVERVIEW:
The Company Secretarial team sit within the Corporate and Commercial department and the company secretarial work is a potential growth area for the firm. The Partners are looking for an experienced company secretarial lawyer (likely to be a solicitor but not essential) who is perhaps looking to move out of a listed company / in house role and move in to or back to private practice. You will have good contacts (following would be good too) and a proven track record in planning for growth, business development and generating work. You will be leading a small team, so management experience is needed, as is the ability to grow the team through developing people and acquiring new talent in the future. • Fully ICSA qualified
• Experience at a high level
• Experience in Business Development and building a team
• Experience working within a legal environment
• Flexibility in a small team environment
• Experience with companies from start-ups SME’s, TSE and AIM listed companies and multinational groups
• Charity corporate governance would also be advantageous t as this is a potential area of growth
