JOB TITLE: Senior Associate, Insurance Regulatory
PQE: 5 – 10
SALARY: Market rate
THE ROLE: Our client is recruiting for a Senior Associate within their market-leading Commercial & Insurance Regulatory team. The team works for a mix of London market and international insurance market clients, including some of the world's largest insurers, reinsurers and broking groups, and has a highly rated, genuinely global non-contentious insurance practice.
The team is currently very busy dealing with a broad range of legal and regulatory issues, including in relation to Brexit, Solvency II, IDD, set up and authorisation of insurance businesses, regulation of Lloyd's market vehicles, and different aspects of insurance distribution (including insurtechs and distribution on internet platforms).
The role will involve working closely with the corporate insurance team in relation to the structuring and execution of complex transactions. The successful candidate will work directly with partners and teams across the international firm and in the US and they are happy for the role to be based across a number of their UK offices, so may suit a candidate looking to relocate out of London whilst continuing to do genuinely City-quality work
THE CANDIDATE: Applications are invited from candidates who have 5 -10 years' PQE and who have strong insurance regulation and/or commercial insurance experience gained in a leading regional or City firm, or inhouse
