Martin Delgado of the Mail on Sunday reported that when Mark Zuckerberg the immensely wealthy founder of the Facebook social networking site, who is said to be worth £10b went house hunting, one might expect him to choose a luxurious mansion. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The 26 year old computer genius has plumbed for a relatively modest two storey house on a suburban street – which neighbours described as nothing special and absolutely average. And remarkably he hasn’t bought it – he is renting. Mr Zuckerberg is not the only fabulously wealthy American to prefer a modest lifestyle. Legendary investor and philanthropist Warren Buffett still lives in the five bedroom house in Georgia, which he bought in 1957 for $31,500.
