JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancer                  
PQE REQUIRED: 2+      
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                 
SALARY: £35,000+ (DOE)                    

THE ROLE:
In this position, you will be responsible for handling your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion. The caseload will include a range of transactions such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build matters.
You will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining a high level of client care throughout the process. The role will involve liaising regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure matters move forward smoothly. You will also be responsible for keeping case management systems up to date, complying with regulatory and lender requirements and supporting the wider property team where required.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE and solid experience in residential conveyancing. You will be confident managing residential property matters and have a strong understanding of the conveyancing process across a range of transactions.
You will be expected to play an active role in supporting the continued growth of the residential property team and assisting with the expansion of the team’s monthly caseload of instructions from local clients. The role will involve handling a broad range of residential property transactions, therefore the ability to work efficiently, maintain excellent attention to detail and provide a high standard of client service is essential. Strong communication and organisational skills will also be important, as the role involves regular interaction with clients and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
