EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR, 8+ PQE, HERTFORDSHIRE (HYBRID), EXCELLENT SALARY & BENEFITS (DOE). An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Solicitor to join the highly regarded Employment practice of this Chambers & Legal 500 ranked firm. JOB REF: 215302276
The successful candidate will provide advice to a broad range of clients and play an active role in the continued development and growth of the team.
• The role will involve handling all aspects of employment law, including drafting, and advising on contracts and policies, managing disciplinary and grievance procedures, and responding to day-to-day HR queries.
• You will also represent clients in contentious employment matters and tribunal claims, such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and redundancy disputes. In addition, the role will involve advising on strategic projects, including large-scale restructurings, TUPE transfers, and workforce planning for corporate clients.
• You will assist in the growth of the firm’s Employment offering through networking and business development initiatives, while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including HR professionals, employers, senior executives, and other referrers.
• You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge and experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, with a proven track record of handling complex tribunal matters and advisory work.
• It is essential that you have demonstrable experience in generating work and developing a client following.
