JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancer (Team Leader)                   
PQE REQUIRED: 10+         
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                 
SALARY: Up to £55,000 (DOE)                     

THE ROLE:
This is a senior opportunity for a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to lead a busy residential conveyancing team and help drive the continued development of the department. You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new builds, lease extensions, Help to Buy and buy to let transactions. A key part of the role will be developing the department's client base and monthly instruction levels. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers, while actively developing new business through estate agents, brokers and other professional contacts. Experience of freehold and leasehold commercial property work would be advantageous, although is not essential.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 10 years' PQE and a strong track record in residential conveyancing. You will have the technical ability to handle a broad range of residential transactions, together with the leadership skills to manage and develop a busy team. Excellent client care is essential, alongside a genuine interest in business development and building long term relationships with clients and professional referrers. This role would suit an ambitious Senior Conveyancer who is ready to take greater responsibility for the performance and future direction of a residential conveyancing department.
