THE ROLE:
• You’ll have the chance to get involved in meaningful client work from an early stage, developing your commercial judgement and building the confidence to provide advice that goes beyond the legal detail to deliver real business value.
• From negotiating and drafting commercial agreements to helping clients navigate everyday business issues, you’ll gain valuable experience across a varied and interesting workload.
• Working with clients across sectors including manufacturing and retail, you’ll develop an understanding of the commercial pressures businesses face and learn how to turn complex legal issues into clear, practical solutions.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• You will be a newly qualified solicitor or have up to three years’ post-qualification experience, with a genuine interest in commercial law.
• You may already have experience advising on commercial contracts or have discovered your enthusiasm for the area during a commercial seat in your training contract.
• Beyond your technical skills, we’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive and keen to learn.
• You will enjoy working with people, take a practical approach to problem-solving and understand the importance of building lasting client relationships.
