Court of Protection Solicitor | 4+ PQE | West Midlands | Hybrid Working (1 Day Per Week in the Office) | Excellent Benefits Package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join a highly regarded specialist team in the West Midlands. This role offers the chance to work with vulnerable clients and their families, providing expert advice on a broad range of Court of Protection matters while enjoying a flexible hybrid working arrangement and an outstanding benefits package.

The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload of Court of Protection matters, supporting clients who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs and ensuring that their best interests remain at the forefront of every decision.

The caseload is likely to include:
• Deputyship applications and appointments
• Professional Deputyship matters
• Property and financial affairs management
• Statutory Will applications
• Gift applications
• Contested Deputyship matters
• Advising Deputies and Attorneys on their duties and responsibilities
• Personal Injury Trusts
• Liaison with family members, care providers, financial advisers and other professionals
• Applications to the Court of Protection and ongoing case management

About You
To be considered, you will ideally:
• Be a qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE
• Have proven experience in Court of Protection and Mental Capacity Act matters
• Be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Possess excellent client care and communication skills
• Demonstrate a compassionate and practical approach to working with vulnerable clients and their families
