JOB TITLE: Litigation Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 8+ years' PQE
LOCATION: South Wales
SALARY: £90,000 - £100,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a growing disputes practice and play a key role in developing its work across the public sector. You will advise a range of organisations on complex contentious matters, with a particular focus on procurement challenges, contractual disputes, governance issues and wider commercial litigation. The role will involve taking responsibility for significant matters from strategy through to resolution, developing trusted relationships with clients and working collaboratively with colleagues across related areas of law. There will also be considerable scope to contribute to the growth of the practice through networking, business development and identifying new opportunities across the market.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from experienced Litigation Solicitors with a strong background in commercial disputes and experience of working on matters involving public sector organisations. Particular experience of procurement disputes or challenges arising from tendering processes would be highly advantageous. You should have excellent technical and analytical skills, together with the confidence to take the lead on complex matters and provide commercially focused advice to clients. A proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development is important, alongside experience of supervising or supporting more junior colleagues. Candidates with an established network of contacts will be of particular interest, although this is not essential where there is a strong track record and clear potential to develop the practice.
THE FIRM:
This well-established law firm has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice to a diverse range of clients across the public and private sectors. The disputes team handles a broad range of complex and high-value matters and offers its lawyers the opportunity to work on challenging cases alongside experienced practitioners. The firm has ambitious plans for continued growth in Wales and this role provides an opportunity for a senior lawyer to have genuine visibility and influence as the practice develops.
THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary of £90,000 - £100,000 DOE, together with the opportunity to work on high-quality and strategically important disputes. This is a role offering significant scope for professional development, increased responsibility and progression within a growing South Wales practice.
HOW TO APPLY:
Contact Gemma at eNL on 020 7183 8586 or email gemma.jones@enllegal.co.uk with your CV or simply call for a confidential discussion.
