Corporate and Commercial Solicitor

Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, 2-4 Years PQE, Staffordshire, £55,000+ (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to build on their existing experience, work closely with a diverse client base and develop their expertise across a broad range of corporate transactions and commercial matters. JOB REF: 5501.

THE ROLE:
• Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you will be involved in a wide range of transactional and advisory work, supporting clients through important stages of their business journey.
• You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include, advising on business and company acquisitions and disposals, assisting with corporate reorganisations, restructures and group arrangements and drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and other corporate documentation.
• Clients range from start-ups and owner-managed businesses to established companies, public sector organisations, charities and high-net-worth individuals, offering exposure to a varied and interesting workload.
• You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters with minimal supervision, work directly with clients and collaborate with colleagues across the wider firm.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Corporate & Commercial Solicitors with between 2-4 Years PQE.
• A solid grounding in corporate and commercial matters, with experience across a range of transactions and advisory work.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to apply legal knowledge in a commercially practical way.
• An understanding of the commercial priorities and challenges facing businesses.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and communicating complex legal issues clearly.
• The ability to organise and progress a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in contributing to the continued success of the team.
