An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join the expanding Commercial Property team of a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property lawyer who is looking for more than just another fee-earning role. The successful candidate will take a leading role within the team, with genuine scope to help shape its continued growth and development.

The Role

Working within an established Commercial Department, you will deal with a broad range of non-contentious Commercial Property matters, acting for a varied client base of businesses and organisations across the region.

The team is continuing to grow and is keen to attract a senior lawyer who can bring strong technical expertise, commercial awareness and leadership skills to the department.

You will be responsible for:

Handling a varied caseload of transactional Commercial Property matters.
Managing your own files independently from instruction through to completion.
Advising clients on a broad range of commercial property transactions.
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Taking a senior and leading role within the Commercial Property team.
Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team.
Managing staff and contributing to the effective running of the department.
Playing an active role in developing and growing the Commercial Property offering.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's offices.

The firm is primarily looking for someone with strong general Commercial Property experience, although additional specialist expertise would be welcomed.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with the technical ability and confidence to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.

You will have:

Strong experience across general Commercial Property.
Excellent technical and drafting skills.
The ability to manage your own caseload and client relationships.
Previous experience of supervising, mentoring or managing junior lawyers and staff.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A commercial and pragmatic approach to client work.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The confidence and ambition to take a leading role within a growing team.
A genuine team-player mentality.
