Director of Finance

Director of Finance, Devon, £65,000+ (DOE) – This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines and simply report the numbers. We’re looking for a hands-on finance leader who can think strategically, get into the detail and make things happen. REF:5419.

THE ROLE:
• Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll help shape the future direction of the business while also getting stuck into the fundamentals, strengthening financial processes, improving systems and controls, building robust foundations and finding smarter ways of working.
• You will have the opportunity to shape the finance function, influence the wider business and play a key role in creating an organisation that is stronger, smarter and better equipped for the future.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• You will be a confident and credible finance professional who combines strategic thinking with a practical, can-do approach.
• Comfortable leading from the front, getting involved when needed and bringing energy, pace and purpose to everything you do.
• Lead and develop the finance function with a clear strategic vision.
• Strengthen systems, processes, controls and financial foundations.
• Balance long-term strategy with the day-to-day realities of running a successful business.
• Take ownership, solve problems and turn ideas into tangible improvements.
