The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Professional Negligence Partner to join a successful and ambitious team in London.

This is a strategic lateral hire for a Partner with a strong track record in professional negligence, professional indemnity and insurance litigation, who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their practice and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.

The successful candidate will act for leading insurer clients on a varied portfolio of complex professional liability matters, with a particular focus on claims involving solicitors, financial advisers, insurance brokers and other professionals.

The role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality and commercially significant matters while developing and strengthening existing client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice.

The Candidate

The firm is seeking an established Partner with a strong reputation and proven track record in professional negligence and/or professional indemnity litigation.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A strong and established practice in professional negligence, professional indemnity and/or insurance litigation
• Significant experience acting for insurers and professional clients
• A proven track record of handling complex and high-value professional liability claims
• Strong relationships with insurer clients, brokers and/or professionals
• A demonstrable track record in business development and client relationship management
• Excellent technical and commercial skills
• The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and ambitious team
• A genuine desire to contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
