Residential Conveyancer

Residential Conveyancer (New Homes), 2+ Years PQE, Devon, £55,000+ (DOE) – We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a successful New Homes and Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional who enjoys managing their own caseload, working directly with clients and playing a key role in the delivery of high-quality new homes transactions. JOB REF:5202.

THE ROLE:
• You will take responsibility for a varied caseload of residential property matters, with a particular focus on new build developments.
• You will work closely with clients, colleagues and other professionals to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently, often working to demanding exchange deadlines.
• Your experience will include reviewing the legal documentation for developments, identifying key issues at an early stage and ensuring that appropriate enquiries and reports are prepared to support subsequent plot purchases.
• You will also handle individual plot transactions and related residential sales where appropriate.
• Supporting the continued development of the department by building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Contributing ideas and initiatives that help improve processes, service delivery and business development.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Residential Conveyancers with a minimum of 2 Years PQE
• Strong background in residential conveyancing and, ideally, new homes and plot sales.
• Confident managing a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Can organise and prioritise effectively while working to challenging deadlines.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team while being capable of working independently.
