The Role
You will take full responsibility for the Residential Conveyancing function, overseeing the team and managing a varied caseload. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a residential conveyancing team
• Managing a high-quality caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build matters
• Ensuring excellent client care and maintaining strong client relationships
• Driving business development initiatives, including building relationships with estate agents and referrers
• Contributing to the firm’s wider growth strategy
• Playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the department

About You
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with significant experience in residential conveyancing
• Proven leadership ability, or a senior fee earner ready to step into a leadership role
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development
• A network of local contacts or referrers would be advantageous but not essential
• Driven, ambitious, and motivated by progression, with a clear desire to achieve Partnership
