JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor
PQE: 6+ PQE
LOCATION: West Sussex
SALARY: Competitive £ (DOE) + Benefits

THE ROLE:
A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor to lead its West Sussex office. Offering genuine autonomy, strong organisational support, and a clear pathway for career progression, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family lawyer looking to take on a prominent leadership role.

You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, cohabitation disputes, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and private children law cases. Alongside handling your own files, you will play a pivotal role in driving the continued growth and development of the firm's family law practice.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 6 years' PQE and a strong track record in handling a broad range of family law matters. You will possess excellent technical expertise across private family law, including financial remedy proceedings, children matters, and complex, high-value disputes.

The successful candidate will have previous leadership or supervisory experience, outstanding communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage a demanding caseload independently. A proactive and commercially minded approach is essential, along with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service. We are seeking a positive, collaborative professional who is eager to play a key role in the continued growth and success of the practice.

THE FIRM:
The firm has earned an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding client service, undertaking high-quality privately funded family work, and fostering a supportive and collaborative culture. It offers a modern and inclusive working environment where individual contributions are recognised and rewarded, and where genuine opportunities for career progression are encouraged.

THE PACKAGE:
In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes BUPA private healthcare, a contributory pension scheme, and access to structured training, development, and leadership programmes designed to support long-term career advancement and professional success.
