Job Description
THE ROLE:
You will play a key role in driving the continued success and growth of the practice, blending strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to guide a high-performing team, while ensuring outstanding client outcomes, delivering against key objectives, and upholding the highest standards of service delivery.
As a leader, you will have the chance to mentor and develop your team, fostering a supportive and ambitious culture where people are empowered to excel and progress in their careers. Leveraging your specialist expertise in dental negligence, you will also oversee complex claims, champion best practice and compliance, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to shape the future direction of the team.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a highly influential role, making a tangible impact on both the growth of the practice and the delivery of outstanding legal services.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE and proven experience in leading a team, with strong technical knowledge on a broad range of clinical negligence matters - dental experience is highly desirable.
You will bring a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service, alongside a clear track record of improving team performance and productivity. Confident in coaching and developing legal professionals, you will demonstrate resilient, positive leadership and act as a strong role model. With excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, you will also be comfortable using technology to enhance legal delivery and drive efficiency.
THE FIRM:
This highly regarded firm offers a competitive salary, alongside a performance-related bonus scheme. The benefits package includes 35 days’ annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas closure), a pension scheme, life assurance, and cover for dental, optical, and other medical expenses. You will also benefit from company sick pay and enhanced maternity, paternity, and IVF support. The firm promotes a flexible, agile working culture, with a strong focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
