Job Description

Private Client Fee Earner | 2+ PQE | Wiltshire | Competitive Salary DOE

A reputable regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Fee Earner (2+ PQE) to join its established Wiltshire offices on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client lawyer who enjoys a varied caseload, a high level of autonomy, and working within a supportive and well structured team environment.

The successful candidate will manage a broad range of Private Client matters, including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Inheritance Tax planning. You will handle files from initial instruction through to completion with minimal supervision, while providing high quality, pragmatic advice and acting as a trusted adviser to individuals and families.

You will be expected to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, referrers, executors and other associated professionals, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Excellent client care and attention to detail are central to the role.

This position would suit a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE in Private Client work, who is confident managing a mixed caseload independently. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a professional, empathetic approach are essential, alongside a proactive and organised working style.
