A leading Corporate & Commercial team is seeking a commercially minded Professional Support Lawyer to take ownership of its know-how, training, and technical excellence.

The role

This is a pivotal position supporting how the team works and delivers advice. The PSL will shape and maintain legal knowledge resources, translate legal and market developments into practical insight, and ensure lawyers have the tools they need to work at a consistently high standard. The role also plays a key part in training, client knowledge, and driving better ways of working across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain precedents, know-how, and guidance materials
• Provide clear, practical updates on legal and market developments
• Support technical queries and legal research
• Deliver training and contribute to professional development
• Assist with client knowledge initiatives and thought leadership
• Support innovation and legal technology projects

About you

A qualified lawyer with strong Corporate & Commercial experience (Banking & Finance also considered). You’ll combine strong technical ability with a practical, commercial mindset and the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Experience in PSL, knowledge, or training roles is an advantage but not essential.
