Personal Injury Solicitor (Claimant), 5 – 8 Years PQE, £55,000 to £70,000 (DOE), Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded lawyer to manage a high-quality caseload of Occupier’s and Public Liability claims, working within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will handle your own caseload of litigated OL/PL matters from inception through to conclusion. Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday. PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITOR/CILEX:
• Take full ownership of a portfolio of OL/PL claims, ensuring each matter progresses efficiently and strategically
• Assess liability, quantum, and overall case prospects to drive strong outcomes
• Prepare and review key legal documentation to support case progression and litigation strategy
• Engage proactively with clients, experts, counsel, and third parties throughout the lifecycle of claims
• Conduct settlement discussions and achieve commercially sound resolutions
• Navigate cases through the litigation process, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines
• Advocate on behalf of clients where appropriate, including attending hearings
• Contribute to team performance by sharing knowledge and best practice
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure files meet compliance standards
• Support the development of junior colleagues through guidance and supervision
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service delivery
