A highly regarded and long‑established law firm in Somerset is looking to welcome an experienced Family Solicitor to its growing and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm known for its collaborative culture, quality work, and genuine investment in its people.

The Opportunity
You will manage a broad and varied privately funded family law caseload, advising clients at what can often be a challenging time in their lives. Matters will include divorce and separation, financial remedies, private children work, cohabitation disputes, domestic abuse applications, and pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements. You’ll have full ownership of your files from instruction through to resolution, with the support of an experienced and approachable team around you.

Client care is central to this role, and you’ll be trusted to build strong relationships, provide clear and pragmatic advice, and represent clients confidently in negotiations and proceedings where required.

About You
• Experienced Family Solicitor, comfortable managing a caseload independently
• Strong communicator with a client‑focused and empathetic approach
• Well‑organised, proactive, and confident drafting and advising across family matters
• Team‑oriented, with a genuine interest in developing within a busy Family department
