JOB TITLE: Property Litigation Solicitor               
PQE REQUIRED: 8

SALARY: £60,000 (DOE)                     

THE ROLE:
The firm is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor with around 8 years’ PQE to join its specialist disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied and high quality caseload while playing a key role within a respected Legal 500 ranked team.
You will advise on a wide range of contentious property matters including disputes relating to commercial property and mixed-use schemes. The role will involve handling landlord and tenant issues such as rent arrears, break notices, forfeiture and lease renewals, as well as service charge disputes and dilapidations claims.
The team also advises on matters arising under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, along with disputes involving insolvency issues, breaches of contract and professional negligence. Additional work includes possession of land claims, trespass and unlawful occupation matters, party wall disputes, overage and coverage disputes, and repossessions. The position offers exposure to complex matters and the opportunity to work closely with a high quality client base.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with approximately 8 years’ post-qualification experience in property litigation. You will have strong technical expertise across a broad range of contentious property matters and be confident managing cases from instruction through to resolution.
You should demonstrate excellent communication and client relationship skills, together with a proactive and commercially minded approach to dispute resolution. The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team will be key, as well as a genuine interest in developing your career within a leading Legal 500 recognised firm.
