JOB TITLE: Corporate Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5+
LOCATION: Hampshire
SALARY: £65-85K DOE

THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join a well-regarded corporate and commercial department that plays a central role in the firm’s growth strategy. The team advises a strong and expanding client base on a broad range of corporate matters, delivering commercially focused and technically robust advice.

You will work on a wide variety of transactions including share sales and purchases, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and business disposals. The role will involve drafting and negotiating key transactional documents such as share purchase agreements, disclosure letters and ancillary documentation, advising on governance matters and preparing bespoke shareholder and LLP agreements. You will also support the implementation of employee share schemes and option arrangements, conduct and oversee due diligence processes, and manage completion and post-completion requirements. There will be particular exposure to clients within the financial services and accountancy sectors, providing the opportunity to develop sector-specific expertise.

This position offers the chance to lead on matters where appropriate, while working closely with Partners and senior colleagues on more complex transactions.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have at least five years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law, with strong technical drafting ability and attention to detail. You will demonstrate experience handling corporate transactions independently with appropriate supervision, and possess a commercially focused, solution-driven approach. Familiarity with corporate work within the financial services or accountancy sectors would be advantageous. A collaborative working style and the confidence to engage directly with clients will be key to success in this role.

THE FIRM:
This is an award-winning and Legal 500 ranked firm with a strong reputation for corporate and commercial work. The culture is collaborative and ambitious, with a clear commitment to professional development and long-term client relationships. The firm offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where lawyers are encouraged to develop their technical expertise and build their own client profile.

PACKAGE:
The firm offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, a fee earner bonus scheme, pension, enhanced family leave policies, 25 days’ annual leave plus additional holiday at Christmas, free parking and a comprehensive benefits package.
