JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 1-4
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for a technically strong Employment Solicitor to join a well-established commercial employment team within a nationally recognised firm. You will advise a broad client base including company owners, HR professionals, in-house lawyers, public and private sector organisations, as well as senior employees and executives. The role offers exposure to the full range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including employee relations issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, Employment Tribunal litigation, whistleblowing and discrimination claims, redundancy and restructuring advice and corporate transactional support including TUPE. You may also be involved in investigations and strategic advisory work. You will be given significant client responsibility whilst working within a supportive and collaborative team environment. There is an expectation that you will contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen both client and inter-departmental relationships. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are supported.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with between one and four years’ post-qualification experience and demonstrable exposure to contentious, advisory and transactional employment matters. You will be confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, delivering commercially sound advice and maintaining high standards of client care. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A collaborative approach combined with the ability to work independently will be key to success in this role.

THE FIRM:
This is a leading national firm recognised for its progressive culture, strong client relationships and commitment to flexible working. The employment team is well regarded for the breadth and quality of its work and provides an excellent platform for career development within a supportive and inclusive environment.

PACKAGE:
The firm offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE) together with a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonus scheme, generous holiday entitlement, private medical insurance options, pension scheme, wellbeing support, hybrid working and structured training and development opportunities.
