Job Description

Head of Business Development, Birmingham City Centre, £90,000+ (DOE) – This is a senior, influential role supporting all service lines, sectors and offices across this leading law firm. JOB REF: 2201.

THE ROLE:
• Lead the development and delivery of business development strategies and initiatives that generate fees and support the firm’s growth ambitions
• Oversee the BD team’s work, including proposals, pitches and bids, targeted opportunity generation, client maximisation and market development
• Support the Marketing team in devising marketing strategies that promote the firm’s services, raise profile and build brand awareness
• Work closely with Marketing Operations leads to ensure effective execution of agreed strategic plans
• Manage relationships with external partners and freelance specialists, briefing and overseeing delivery as an extension of the internal team

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Previous experience working at this level within a similar-sized or similarly complex organisation
• Marketing degree or postgraduate marketing qualification following a business or communications degree
