THE ROLE:
The role involves providing high quality legal advice and support on both casework and regulatory matters, while also managing a portfolio of complex regulatory cases. The appointed lawyer will ensure that all decisions are fair and consistent, and that they align with relevant legislation, case law, and internal policies. The position also supports the Head of the team by helping to allocate cases, oversee decision making, and monitor performance.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers, FCILEx, or foreign qualified lawyers with experience in regulatory law and managing high volume caseloads. The organisation is also open to applicants with a background in family law. You will provide clear, accurate legal advice, produce complex written work, deliver training, and review detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in operational delivery, process improvement, and public-facing work, as well as strong relationship building skills.
