Job Description
Medical Negligence Solicitor, 3+ PQE, Devon, £Excellent. Hybrid or remote working will be considered. A respected and long-established law firm in Devon is seeking a skilled Solicitor with experience in medical negligence to support their team. There is so much more to tell you about this exciting career opportunity, so call me and we can discuss in further detail. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Theresa Lucas on 0121 454 1004 or email theresa.lucas@enllegal.co.uk with your CV, or simply call for a confidential discussion and quote Job Ref: 1977
MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE SOLICITOR:
The role involves undertaking a caseload of approximately medical negligence files. These matters are complex in nature and involve issues such as misdiagnosis, delayed treatment, surgical errors, negligent care, and fatal claims. Inquests, claims related to cosmetic surgery, and complaints against healthcare providers may also form part of the workload. You will be expected to manage files independently from start to finish, including all aspects of litigation and pre-litigation, depending on the stage of each matter. While the department works largely with paper files, there is strong admin support available, including a legal secretary and trainee solicitor, so documents can be scanned in as needed to facilitate hybrid or remote working. The firm is open to applicants looking for a flexible working arrangement, whether part-time or full-time, with a minimum commitment of three days per week. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with solid experience in clinical negligence law.
To apply contact Theresa Lucas at eNL on 0121 454 1004 or email theresa.lucas@enllegal.co.uk with your CV or simply call for a confidential discussion.
eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission. As part of our candidate care process, we aim to respond to all applications in 7 days. If you have not been contacted within this timescale, your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
At eNL we value diversity and inclusion. We want to attract people at all levels and encourage applications from all suitably qualified candidates whatever your ethnicity, religion, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any characteristics protected by law in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
