Family Solicitor, 6+ PQE, Dorset, £55,000-£70,000 (DOE) –
A well-established and growing law firm in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its specialist family law team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, managing a diverse caseload that includes divorce and separation, financial settlements, child arrangements and matters involving domestic abuse. THE ROLE:
  • Manage a varied caseload of family law matters from initial client instruction through to successful resolution.
  • Provide expert advice across the full spectrum of family law, including but not limited to divorce and separation, child arrangements and parental responsibility issues, cohabitation disputes and agreements and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Domestic abuse matters and applications for protective injunctions.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings, negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to the department’s growth and development.

THE CANDIDATE:
  • You will be a qualified Solicitor with approximately circa 6+ years’ PQE as a Family Solicitor.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in divorce, finance and private children work.
  • Excellent technical ability, communication and client care skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism and emotional intelligence.
