Family Solicitor - Locum, Part Time, circa 12 months Fixed term contract, competitive salary, 8 + years’ PQE, Bedfordshire. Part time locum Family Solicitor wanted to cover maternity leave for approximately 12 months, starting next year. OVERVIEW:
•The locum will handle a caseload of private family law matters, including children’s cases, TOLATA disputes, and financial remedy proceedings
•You will conduct client consultations, provide clear and practical legal advice, and manage cases independently with minimal supervision
•Applications are open to qualified solicitors with 8+ years PQE in family law
•The appointed locum will be confident in independently handling both children and financial remedy matters
•Experienced or familiar with TOLATA cases
•The solicitor will offer strong client care and communication skills
•The ideal candidate will be available to commence cover from 2026
•You will receive support from a legal assistant, guidance from a senior solicitor and the family department manager
