Job Description

RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT, NORTH YORKSHIRE, CIRCA £25,000 DOE. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced conveyancer, with excellent training and development prospects, and the potential to manage a small caseload independently under supervision. JOB REF: 0948

•The appointed conveyancing assistant will support the conveyancer with residential purchases and sales, transfers of equity, remortgages, and other related transactions.

•The responsibilities will include handling initial enquiries and providing quotes, managing client expectations and answering queries, drafting legal documents and correspondence, updating databases and case management software, liaising with estate agents, lenders, and other parties, and attending meetings while supporting administrative tasks.

•Applications are open to legal professionals with a minimum of 18 months’ experience in a similar role and with excellent customer service skills and ability to meet deadlines.

•You will be organised with strong time management skills and excellent IT skills (experience with case management systems is desirable).
