Job Description

Legal Secretary, Cambridgeshire, up to c£25,000 (DOE) – A new opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary with strong all-round legal secretarial experience, including residential conveyancing, to join a busy team in Cambridgeshire. JOB REF: 0589.

THE ROLE:
• Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners across a range of legal matters
• Drafting and formatting legal correspondence and documents accurately and efficiently
• Diary management, booking appointments, and organising meetings
• Handling client queries with professionalism and discretion
• Ensuring compliance with office procedures and legal protocols
• Supporting other departments as required with general secretarial tasks

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Proven experience as a Legal Secretary with solid generalist secretarial skills
• Experience and confidence working in residential conveyancing
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and legal case management systems
• A friendly, professional manner with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
