Paralegal (Residential Conveyancing)

Paralegal (Residential Conveyancing), West Midlands, £32,000+ (DOE) – A new opportunity for a confident, capable Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy and collaborative Residential Conveyancing Team. You’ll manage your own caseload of residential property transactions while also providing vital support to the Residential Legal Team. JOB REF:0064.

THE ROLE:
• Provide client-focused support with regular communication and updates
• Liaise confidently with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
• Assist the RLT with progressing matters and handling day-to-day tasks
• Provide support and cover for colleagues during leave or absences
• Offer guidance to Legal Support Assistants (LSAs) on conveyancing processes and administrative matters
• Responsible for a varied caseload to include, Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Transfers of Equity, Remortgages, Assents, First Registrations and Lease Extensions

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Several years of hands-on residential conveyancing experience in a law firm
• Ability to manage an active caseload with intermediate supervision
• Strong working knowledge of the full conveyancing process
• Excellent client care skills and communication abilities
• Confident IT skills and familiarity with conveyancing software
• Team player with a proactive and supportive approach
