LEGAL CASHIER, KENT, up to £21,000 (DOE). Join a full-service law-firm dedicated to offering exceptional levels of client care with nearly 100 staff. OVERVIEW:
• Maintain financial records, oversee Credit Control and Legal Aid billing.
• Manage monthly payroll, including reconciliations for bank, petty cash, credit cards, and expenses.
• Handle sales and purchase ledgers and perform daily client account reconciliations.
• Prepare month and year-end reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and process payments (CHAPS/BACs).
• Conduct monthly compliance reporting to COFA/COLP and senior partners.
• Assist with cheques, receipts, client transfers, completion statements, invoices, disbursements, and bills.
• Monitor residual client balances and generate time and billing reports.
• Support archiving and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
• Work in a small team of Legal Cashiers and report to the Senior Partner.
• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with COFA responsibilities awareness preferred.
• Experience with Partner4Windows (Tikit) is a plus.
• Willingness to work extra hours during busy periods.
