THE ROLE:
This leading law firm is looking for an adept planning lawyer to join their national planning team, confident in catering to a broad range of clients to provide advice on matters relating to special protection areas, assets of community value, and village greens – as well as securing planning permission and negotiating statutory agreements. The work will involve auditing planning application documents and committee reports to aid clients in risk assessment, appeals, judicial reviews, and enforcement.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have previous experience of at least 5 years’ PQE and be capable of demonstrating a track record of successful practice development and excellent communication skills, to establish good rapport with clients and the rest of the team. You will have proficiency in drafting complex section 106 Agreements, highway agreements, land development agreements, and planning due diligence reports. A solid understanding of EIA, CIL, and GLA planning is essential.
