THE ROLE:
This well-regarded firm has an exceptional opportunity available for an ambitious Court of Protection Lawyer to join their team. Our client is looking for an experienced paralegal, solicitor or legal executive to manage a caseload of professional and lay deputyship applicants from application to administration in relation to property and affairs. It involves making appropriate decisions, exercising judgement, understanding and managing financial budgets, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the lives of the firm’s clients. As part of their role, the Court of Protection Lawyer will provide advice regarding the Court of Protection and monitor clients' eligibility for statutory funding and other entitlements. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a busy environment and will be able to deal with large volumes of work on a daily basis.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from passionate and hardworking Paralegals, Solicitors or Legal Executives with at least 2 years’ experience in Court of Protection work in a similar environment within a busy department.
